We are now one year into the three-year delivery plan for tackling the COVID-19 backlog of elective care and continue to support systems and providers with delivering the ambitions set out in the plan.

Our webinar series is a vital part of sharing key updates and examples of best practice and learnings from across the NHS and we would like to invite you to our next session, which will focus on referral optimisation to reduce non-admitted waiting lists.

Jim Mackey, National Director for Elective Recovery and Paul Doyle, National Programme Director for Elective Recovery, will provide an update on our progress and priorities. Plus, case studies such as Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, who have implemented enhanced models of referral management and Advice & Guidance, offering rapid diagnostic and treatment plans to primary care, which has led to significant reductions in waiting times for patients requiring hospital appointments.

Please register by 2.00pm on Wednesday 8 March 2023. Once registration has closed, we will send an outlook invitation, which will be from this email address, to join the webinar to all registered attendees.

This webinar is for those who are working in or with elective services. Please register with an NHS or professional email address.

We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you (virtually) on Thursday 9 March at 1.00pm.
